The company manufacture critical components for power transmission equipment used in drivetrain applications within Oil & Gas, Mineral Extraction, Mass Transit, Marine Propulsion and Metal Processing Sectors.

As a result of re-alignment and substantial investment, a need has arisen for an accomplished Supply Chain professional to fine tune the supplier network.

• Responsible for the procurement of raw materials, equipment and services to ensure the site runs in a safe, sustainable and cost efficient manner.
• Formulate and implement procurement strategy alongside daily tactical purchasing activities and necessary processes and procedures.
• Contribute an expertise in cost optimisation, supplier selection/rationalisation, risk management and inventory control.
• Record and monitor key functional metrics on quantities and specifications to allow appropriate controls and KPI’s.

• Should be CIPS certified, demonstrate a successful record of utilising ERP system and process controls, and have a demeanor which enhances inter-departmental communications.
• Conversant with cost and scenario analysis using benchmarking and demand forecasting techniques to result in feasible solutions from the findings.
• Will relish the challenge of change and foster an environment of accountability and discipline.
